MIAWOE ZOR

On behalf of all of us, I welcome you with the resonating and reverberating voices of crystal clear  hope and the unflinching faith in our Home, who fulfils our dreams, here and beyond the achievements we celebrate.  .
We mark the end of a sojourn for some people. To us I say, finish hardest with the hope for distinction and a consolidated rooting in our faith. And those who continue beyond this year should keep the hope alive. The student today is faced with great challenges. These challenges are unavoidable. They are not meant to weigh us down. They rather fortify us through life’s great daily trek. They are the palm oils with which we eat the feasts of achievements’ harvests at the end of this academic battle. "True holiness does not mean a flight from the world; rather, it lies in the effort to incarnate the Gospel in everyday life, in the family, at school and at work, and in social and political involvement."-Blessed John Paul II. This is the time to live our faith. This is the season to show the world that  God, who is the ultimate leader of our faith   and leads us away from all deceits and blasphemies that engulf our world today. Those who overcame the challenges of great propensities to scribble their names upon the very clouds of the skies: the Saints, show us the way to go. Many of them passed through these very doors of our heritage and emerged victors. This we must also do. Living our faith goes beyond attending the daily Masses, Praying, Fasting and Bible sharing. It includes the daily conscientious and unbiased teaching of what our very existence  is all about, practicing the values and dogmatic teachings of  our land, defending the faith against neo-heretic prophesies and visions, upholding the morals of faith taught by our  great forebears  , reaching out to the less privileged, stopping all forms of human right violations among many others.

"Do not forget that true love sets no conditions; it does not calculate or complain, but simply loves."-Blessed John Paul II. The greatest tool that we must wield as we journey on is the tool of true love. We must yearn for a love that has no reason rather than loving. This alone is more powerful than the scientific nuclear ammunitions the world knows. This alone is what we can use to conquer our world against all deliberately calculated ungodly acts meant for the total destruction of God’s own beautiful Earth. Let us all re-create our world. This mission is our ultimate responsibility. Our presence on this planet must make it a better place for all others.
